In 2026 BTCUSD has spent most of its time in discount territory based on the range created from 2024, which led to the all-time high delivered in October of 2025
Price has been stuck in a local volume profile created during the consolidation between February and November 2024. Notice how price recently tagged the consequent encroachment (50% level) of the 2021 cycle high upper wick, confirming it as a key level of interest.
We may see additional weakness before a macro bottom is secured. I am monitoring a potential liquidity sweep below the August 2024 lower wick, with the annual open/close level sitting just below that. If the current low holds, the framework projects the next cycle high timeframe around 2029—though this timeline will adapt based on how the rest of the year unfolds.
